Guarantees
No Lemons Guarantee
- Scope of Coverage. TRALO (“the Company”) warrants that if two (2) or more major functional components of the newly installed HVAC system — defined as the compressor, evaporator coil, condenser coil, heat exchanger, reversing valve, outdoor fan motor, indoor blower motor, and control board (collectively referred to as “Heart Components”) — fail within twenty-four (24) months of the original installation date, the Company will, at its sole discretion, provide a full system replacement of like kind and quality at no cost to the customer.
- Exclusions. This guarantee does not apply in cases of:
- damage caused by misuse, neglect, vandalism, tampering, or failure to perform recommended maintenance;
- damage caused by acts of nature or events beyond the Company’s reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, flood, extreme weather, power surges, or accidents;
- cosmetic defects, including scratches, dents, or other non-functional imperfections; or
- repairs or alterations made by any person or entity other than the Company or a Company-authorized service provider.
- Limitations. The No Lemons Guarantee provides for one (1) system replacement only and does not reset or extend the original manufacturer’s warranty or the guarantee period for the replacement unit.
General Provisions Applicable to All Guarantees
- Maintenance Requirement. All guarantees are contingent upon the customer performing required maintenance on the equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. Failure to maintain the equipment may void coverage.
- Residential Installations Only. These guarantees apply exclusively to residential installations completed by the Company and are not transferable to commercial properties or subsequent homeowners unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Force Majeure. The Company shall not be held responsible for any delays, failures, or inability to fulfill its obligations under these guarantees arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
- Limitation of Liability. Except as expressly provided herein, the Company disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, inconvenience, or property damage beyond the replacement or service remedies described herein.
No Surprises, No Excuses Guarantee
- Fixed Pricing Commitment. The Company warrants that the total amount stated in the written estimate or sales agreement constitutes the full price for the installation services and equipment described therein (“Quoted Price”). The customer shall not be responsible for any increase in labor or materials costs incurred by the Company during the course of installation, except as provided in Section 3.
- Quality of Work. The Company agrees that all installation work shall be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner and in accordance with industry standards. The Company will not intentionally use substandard materials or perform work in a manner that compromises the system’s performance or longevity.
- Exclusions and Adjustments. The following circumstances are expressly excluded from this guarantee and may result in additional charges with prior customer consent:
- customer-requested changes, upgrades, or additions after the quote was issued;
- remediation of pre-existing structural, electrical, or mechanical issues not reasonably identifiable at the time of quoting;
- work required to bring pre-existing conditions into compliance with applicable building codes.
- Responsibility for Errors. Should the Company make an error in the installation or execution of the quoted work, the Company shall remedy the issue at no cost to the customer. The Company assumes full responsibility for correcting its own workmanship issues but shall not be held liable for consequential or incidental damages arising therefrom.

Apples-to-Apples Price Match Guarantee
- Scope of Coverage. If, prior to or within thirty (30) days after the installation date, the customer presents a written quote from another licensed HVAC contractor (“Competitor”) for equipment and services that are materially identical to the Company’s offering — including, without limitation, identical make and model of equipment, installation scope, warranty terms, and service commitments — and the Competitor’s quoted price is lower, the Company will:
- match the Competitor’s price, and
- reduce that price by an additional one hundred dollars ($100.00 CAD).
- Conditions and Exclusions. This guarantee will not apply to:
- verbal quotes, incomplete estimates, or promotional materials lacking full specifications;
- quotes for dissimilar equipment, reduced service scope, or lesser warranty coverage (an “apples-to-oranges” comparison);
- quotes reflecting temporary, private, or non-public discounts (including “friends and family” rates or contractor-only specials).
- Verification. The Company reserves the right to verify the authenticity and equivalency of any competing quote. The determination of whether a quote constitutes an “apples-to-apples” comparison shall rest solely with the Company.
